I am a passionate and experienced educator. My teaching emphasizes curiosity, discovery, and building intuition that helps students understand the world around them.
I help students reach their goals by meeting them wherever they are, whether that means walking through the algebra or pushing beyond the textbook to help them discover their academic passions.
Selected USC student evaluations:
“I can honestly say Nick was one of the best TA’s I’ve ever had. He’s engaging, relatable, and makes learning fun. Whether it’s a witty joke related to the topic or a clear and simple explanations, I learned a lot from Nick in terms of Econ and life.”
“BEST TA EVER!!! Nick is the GOAT! He truly understands what it feels like to struggle with math. Because of that, he can explain complex topics in a simple manner. Not a lot of people can do that- a rare skill in my opinion.”
“Nick was an awesome TA! He explained every concept super effectively and made each lesson engaging.”

As part of my educational outreach, I developed an interactive STEM-focused lecture for advanced high school students. Drawing upon years as a performing artist, “The Mathematics of Juggling” walks audiences through the process of building mathematical models, inviting everyone to take part in the process of discovery through engaging visual demonstrations and interactive puzzles.
Selected reviews from National Youth Science Camp 2025 delegates:
“Exceptionally captivating. Deeply entertaining and educational. Highly recommended as an intro to college mathematics.”
“This lecture was exciting and interesting- it taught me to broaden my perspective and look for real world applications. I also thought the lecturer tied his theme together very nicely.”
“Very engaging, made a topic that I thought to be boring to be interesting, entertaining and fun”
Outside economics, I have pursued juggling as a hobby for many years. Teaching others to juggle has shaped my teaching by sharpening how I think about learning difficult skills, explaining complex ideas clearly, and making learning engaging and memorable. Along the way, I have performed for audiences in the thousands and have been featured in film and print.
